  1. About Boating Safely | Public Education Course

    March 23, 2019, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Angler's Nation

    The Coast Guard Auxiliary will be hosting an exciting, in-depth boating safety course. Check out the in classroom (seminar) version of our popular online boating course. This beginner boating class will give you the knowledge needed to obtain a boat license or safety certification in many states. Many boat insurance companies will offer discounts on boating insurance to boaters who successfully complete About Boating Safely. TOPICS INCLUDE: Introduction to Boating, Boating Law, Boat Safety Equipment, Safe Boating Navigation, Boating Problems, Trailering, Storing and Protecting Your Boat Hunting and Fishing, Water-skiing and River Boating ting tips. Course also includes details on PA boating requirements. Those who pass will be issued PA Temporary Boating Safety Certificates (valid for 60 days) and given the application for the Boating Safety Education Certificate. Course text will be provided - please bring a writing utensil and a packaged lunch.

Learn how to create beautiful Easter Eggs using the interesting custom of Pysanky. Eggs are hand decorated using an ancient wax resist process which the Ukrainians have been using for centuries.
