The Department of Parks and Recreation mission is to provide and maintain a well balanced system of active and passive park sites and recreational facilities; to research, develop and implement a year round program of recreation, leisure, cultural and arts programming, and activities for all segments of the population; to protect open space and preserve the natural resources of the Borough; to provide assistance to youth and adult organizations, cultural groups, and civic clubs in promoting their own programming through the use of facilities all for the express purpose of enhancing the quality of life for the residents of Lansdale Borough and neighboring communities.
In 2025, Lansdale Parks & Recreation made a meaningful impact across the community through diverse programs, events, and facility use. With 530 program participants, 248 event registrants, and over 5,000 concert attendees, our spaces brought people together all year long. We supported 104 summer campers, hosted 15 annual events, and facilitated 172 facility rentals. Our pool season was a major highlight, with 3,806 memberships and 32,405 total visits. Additionally, we offered 85 discount tickets, coordinated 55 contracted programs, welcomed 80 art festival exhibitors, and completed 5 major projects to enhance our community spaces.
Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped make 2025 such a successful and memorable year—we couldn’t do it without you!
