Parking meters and kiosks (in lots) are designed to encourage the availability of short-term on-street parking.

In order to encourage the turnover in spaces available for short-term, on-street parking, limits are established.

One of the major benefits of modernizing the system is the ability to use a credit or debit card. Also, the meters have wireless capabilities that enable them to notify the Borough when they need service.

There are four kiosks, one at the following locations: -Vine Street Lot (across from Lansdale Library) -West Main Street Lot (in front of the Boys & Girls Club) -Walnut Street Lot (next to Chantilly Floral) -Ninth Street Lot (SEPTA Ninth Street Station)

The kiosks were purchased by the Borough's Parking Authority.

West Main Street Lot: $.50 per hour (25 spaces available) Walnut Street Lot: $.50 per hour (50 spaces available) Vine Street Lot: $.50 per 6 hours (100 spaces available) Ninth Street Lot: $1.25 per hour ( spaces available)
